GOODYEAR, a trademark, and it is also the inventor in the patent field. Charles Goodyear, He was born on December 29, 1800, in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S., is the inventor of the vulcanization, is a chemical process to improve the quality of the rubber by mixing with sulfur and heated. Goodyear wrote a book about his discovery. The book consists of two volumes and titled Rubber Elasticity and Variations (1853-1855).

Goodyear strives to eliminate the bad qualities of rubber, he mixed rubber with nitric acid or other chemicals.He made experiments of this kind for 3 years but not getting results, he made experiments in prison.
